Langhe DOC Nebbiolo San Nicolao

The grape variety this wine comes from is also called “grapes of the fog” since it comes to a full ripening in autumn, when the hills are surrounded by the fog.
This wine is aged in barrels in big oak for 12 months and thus released on the market one year after the harvest.
Suitable for ageing.

    rich and deep soils of steep hillsides with a southerly or southwesterly exposure are the ideal habitat for Nebbiolo.

    100% Nebbiolo
  • Vinification:
    traditional in stainless steel tanks, refining in big casks of oak for 12 months. Hand harvest in mid October.
  • Organoleptic properties:
    ruby red colour, sometimes with orange highlights; persistent and delicate bouquet; dry or slightly sweet flavour, agreeably tannic, extremely well-balanced and harmonious.
  • Food matching:
    Ideal with first courses and second courses of red meat.
  • Tips:
    Best served at 18°C
